Project Overview

BabyBook is a mobile application designed to help parents record, organize, and preserve precious memories of their children's growth and development in a digital format. During my internship at Lanaco, I served as both UX Designer and Developer, working in Android Studio to implement forms, validations, and audio widgets while optimizing the overall user experience.

The Challenge

Parents wanted an easy, organized way to document their children's milestones and memories, but existing solutions were either too complex or lacked essential features. The challenge was to design and develop an intuitive Android application with efficient forms, reliable validations, and engaging audio features while ensuring the interface remained simple for busy parents to use.

The Solution

Combined UX design expertise with Android development skills during internship at Lanaco. Designed and implemented user-friendly forms with robust validation systems using Android Studio. Developed specialized audio widgets for recording children's sounds and voices. Focused on streamlined workflows and intuitive design patterns that made memory recording effortless for busy parents.

Impact & Results

Successfully published application with improved user experience that increased user engagement and daily active usage.
