MateUp is a social networking mobile application developed by a 3-person team using Android Studio. As UX Designer and Mobile App Developer, I was responsible for both the user experience design and mobile development implementation. The platform facilitates meaningful connections for both personal and business networking through sophisticated matching algorithms and community features.
People struggled to find like-minded individuals for hobbies and business partnerships in their local areas. Existing social platforms were too broad and didn't effectively facilitate meaningful connections based on specific interests or professional needs.
As part of a 3-person development team, designed and implemented the frontend user interface using Android Studio. Created comprehensive UX flows and developed intuitive interface components for interest-based matching features. Focused on frontend implementation of user interfaces that connect users based on hobbies, location, and business goals while collaborating with backend developers for data integration.
Won First Place at INOST International Competition. The application successfully connected hundreds of users and facilitated numerous successful partnerships and friendships.
